For a 4-week Aesthetic Assistant Course (Non-Doctors), the eligibility criteria should ensure patient safety and make clear that graduates assist clinicians rather than perform medical procedures independently.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Minimum education: Intermediate (FSc/FA/ICS/I.Com) or equivalent
• Preference for candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Dental Hygiene/Assistant
  • Physiotherapy
  • Pharmacy Technician

  • Medical Assistant
• Good communication skills and professional appearance
• Basic computer and English reading skills

• No prior experience required (training provided)

Scope After Completion Graduates are trained to work as Aesthetic Assistants under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist or aesthetic physician. They are not qualified to independently diagnose patients or perform medical aesthetic procedures such as injectables or laser treatments unless separately licensed under applicable regulations. This distinction helps align expectations and supports patient safety.
