World Health Day 2026 – Community Welfare Initiative at SkinDot Clinics PWD Islamabad
On 07 April 2026, SkinDot Clinics PWD Islamabad observed World Health Day through a community welfare initiative in collaboration with The Diabetes Centre Islamabad, reinforcing its commitment to preventive healthcare and public awareness in Islamabad.
The activity was organized to provide accessible and evidence-based health services to the local community. Free diabetes screening was conducted to support early detection of blood sugar abnormalities and to encourage timely medical consultation. In addition, diabetic eye screening was performed by a qualified optometrist from The Diabetes Centre Islamabad, highlighting the importance of regular eye examinations in preventing diabetes-related complications.
Consultant dermatologists at SkinDot Clinics also provided free dermatology consultations, offering clinical assessment, patient education, and guidance on common skin conditions. Special emphasis was placed on understanding the relationship between systemic diseases such as diabetes and their impact on skin health.
This initiative reflects SkinDot Clinics Islamabad’s commitment to ethical, community-focused healthcare delivery. By promoting awareness, early diagnosis, and multidisciplinary collaboration, we aim to improve long-term health outcomes and strengthen preventive healthcare practices in PWD Islamabad.
SkinDot Clinics continues to actively participate in community welfare initiatives to enhance access to quality healthcare and patient education across Islamabad. https://skindotclinics.com
